Procedure
Making soap is a complicated process and a dangerous process in its initial stages. Please do not attempt to make soap without researching the procedures and taking all precautionary measures.
1. Measure lye. Measure water. Add water to lye. Mix to dissolve lye. Let cool.
2. Measure oils. Melt oils in a large pot over very low temperature.
3. When oils and lye are at recommended temperatures, slowly pour lye into oils stirring constantly.
4. Add fragrance oils and other ingredients such as roses, lavender, oatmeal, almonds, honey, etc.
5. Pour into molds. Incubate 48 hours.
7. Allow to cure for four weeks on dry racks.
